The Translate.Net will help you to translate words and phrases to and from numerous languages in simple way. This free, open-source software work as client to most popular translating services available online (translators, monolingual and bilingual dictionaries).
Using results of translations from many different sources allow receiving much more reliability of translation.

Already supported 41 sites with language services, 53 services, 70 languages, more of 4000 translations directions, including Google translator and dictionary, Wikipedia and Wiktionary, Yahoo Babel Fish Translator, SYSTRAN translator, Merriam-Webster dictionary and thesaurus. GUI localized to Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Ukrainian.

Available as standalone installer and as portable version.

Translate.Net contains many features to receive translation easy:
* embedded detection of input language and intelligent switching of translation direction based on detected language and input language (keyboard layout)
* history of used language pairs which sorted by last use time
* system hotkeys (Ctrl+C+C and\or Ctrl"{+"}Ins+Ins) allow to activate Translate.Net and easily perform translation from any software
* customizable system-wide keyboard and mouse hotkeys to run translation from any tool (only in beta version)
* support of user profiles (user defined sets of services)

User interface is highly customizable. You can use many options to configure it:
* All element are sizeable by "splitters"
* Order of text input box, result view and list of languages can be changed in "top-bottom" and "left-right" directions
* User can change fonts of text input box and result view

* Translate.Net requires a connection to the Internet for work
* If you concerned about safety of yours translations, please use other solutions, because Translate.Net sends your words and phrases to web sites for translating
* Translate.Net not responsible about content you received from translating services and don't give you any additional rights for translations results over rights given by original copyrights holders of sites. This is your responsibility to fulfil the requirements of the "Terms of use" of used sites. You can check "Terms of use" of any translating site by clicking on icon shown in front of each translations result.
